I managed to capture this great image in Site C today! As I strolled down the street, I ran into this 'bhuti' just sitting on the step outside his friend's Bob Marley inspired hair salon. I learned he move to the Township several months ago. He looked so free in the township. It's great to see a growing number of other cultures opting to live in the Cape Flats. As a youngter growing up in Khayelitsha, I never remember a time with length of diversity. It's nice to see how far we've come as a community. You see, we township people aren't so bad afterall, we don't bite. But jokes aside, it's great to see the extent of unity and acceptance in the Cape Flats.
